Hi Grasscity, I'm going camping this week and looking for batteries, that i can go to Walmart and buy so i can just strip and use in my MFLB. Any suggestions?
    I won't have access to a charger

  2. What did you just say?

  3. Fixed! Sorry

Sent from my HTC One using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  4. not just any battery will do. you need NIMH type, rechargable.

Maybe since you are going camping go old school and combust ie. J's or a pipe.

You can get a butane vape too if you still wanna stick with vaping tho. The hammer has some good reviews, including an in-depth one from ren.db on this forum. The lotus is another good one if you wantan alternative.

if youre pressed for time however or still want to stick with the mflb, just go to a lhs. The mflb sells everywhere, so im sure theyll have some batts in stock.

Oh boy lol. Good luck with that. If you're going camping for a week and don't have access to a charger and the MFLB is all you have, you're really going to have to bring a buttload of pre-charged batteries with you, unless you're willing to buy something thats powered by butane.

That being said, you're going to need to buy some NimH rechargeable batteries. However, with no access to a charger during the trip, you'll still be in a pre-charge type of scenario. I wouldn't recommend using regular batteries (alkaline) in the MFLB. Not sure how that would react as the NimH's used in the MFLB are high discharge batteries. I don't think alkaline's are designed to crank out that much current.

So if you're going camping, @[member="gsr"] brought up 2 very good suggestions; The Lotus and The Hammer. Butane is king when you don't have access to a power for whatever reason. I have left a rather in-depth review of The Hammer, and @[member="Steams71"] has The Lotus and I know he's very satisfied with it.

  7. you can go to most outdoor gear shops and find products that can charge anything with a USB cable.

i bought the power adapater kid for my MFLB and that came with a car charger - that's sooooper handy

  8. If you're going car camping, I recommend just buying the PA 2.0 as it comes with a car outlet adapter. If you're just backpack camping in the middle of buttfuck nowhere without a car... Just smoke man.
