I've been more or less high for the last 2 years and I figure it's time to take a bit of time off to get the lungs a bit pinker. I'll be posting random thoughts, problems, relapses, etc. in this thread and will still continue to visit the city and participate in the various conversations just cuz i think it'll help me through it a bit. Here's hopin for no relapses, starting tomorrow, I will smoke my last bowl of blueberry, clean my bubbler, and set her into the closet for three months (with the occasional dusting). Go team sober! lol
I'm thinking about doing the same thing, my head is in a haze. I got two bowls left, then I wanna take a short break and hopefully treat this girl I like to dinner instead of just smoking it.
ok, to mark this date using the forum for keeping track, I just smoked my last bowl of weed I have left and will be on a 3 month tolerance break starting today, so it's actually 89 instead of 90 days without weed, but no more purchasing or smoking till May 14. here we go. i'm anticipating a bit of boredom for a while, but i can deal with that.
jw, why 3 months? whenever i do tolerance breaks i do a month and that seems to have me completely cleared out
Been sober for about a month now... Getting depressed... If you're worried about your lungs why not just vape or eat?
it's more than just a lung thing, it's a money thing too, and other stuff. I just don't get excited about getting high, it's more of a ritual than a treat these days, so I just want to change that a bit, at least for a little while.

well, i'm on day . . . what is it, two, three? Anyway, wouldn't you know it the second I start my tolerance break, I catch a cold! Hope it doesn't turn into anything serious. Drinking lots of fluids and getting some rest. Work has come to a stand still (pseudo self employed) since I caught a cold and I tend to work better while high (visual artist). That being said, I have not relapsed yet. Trying to stick it out and I know some of this is just the initial reaction to a change of daily habits. Stopping daily cannabis use can't be without it's noticable effects, good and bad, y'know? Peace guys, burn a few down for me, eh?
oh, and quick question. Anybody know if it's awkward calling a dealer after three months of no pickups, no word exchanges, etc.? Or is that pretty normal. I haven't stopped smoking weed for the last two years, so the two guys I usually pick up must be used to getting a call from me every 1 to 2 weeks or so. Will it be weird to call them after three months of no show?

well, sorry guys, but it looks like I relapse today. gonna go pick up in a few hours. here's the reason/story: an old roomie who comes in and out every few months (just stashes his stuff in his room for the most part), well he finally came back and was all like "dude, my girl is coming up today and we were wondering if you could pick us up a an eighth each." so they hand me 100 and i'm like "fuck, i'll pick one up for m'self while i'm at it." so yeh . . . an eighth usually lasts me a 5 to 7 days, so . . . yeh . . . hopefully the relapse will only be a week but I don't know. keep ya posted. sorry to disappoint for those of you who were rootin.
