  1. why do mj leaves make taco shapes?
is this a sign of over watering? too much nutes?
my leaves are V shaped like a taco shell.

  2. Show me a pic, I really can't picture a leaf curling up like a taco lol.

  3. ive been having that problem and i believe it is a result from high temps

  4. i dont have pics at the moment.
the way they look is folding upward instead of down. in a V shape but wide angle V shape.
not exactly parralel like taco shells.

  5. Mine did that the other day from lack of light or low temps. My hps blew and when i got it back on em within an hour they all went to normal.

High temps will curl the edges in little razors.

  6. well im growing outdoors in california. so theres not much i can do to controll the temperature. in the summer out here its known to get anywhere from the lower 80's to 105 degreez on a real hot summer day.

usually its moderate and around mid 80s lower 90s.

last year i didnt have this problem with the leaves.
this year is weird. i bet it has somethin to do with global warming.
every year my plants do just fine. this year they are acting strange.

  7. Im pretty sure that when the leafs furl up like that its because they are trying to retain water.

  8. so its from under watering??
i water the plants every other day or every 2 days.
i always check the soil with my finger to see if its still damp or if its dry.

usually after i water it.. the soil will stay damp about a inch or two under the top for a few days.

  9. Im not entirely sure its only the water, but it can also start to happen towards the end of flowering.
