Violence is always a last resort. However, if someone fucks with something I later consume and are dumb enough to provide evidence of it, I will gladly punch someone in the jaw and call it even. "Beat Up" isn't a term I would use. Not trying to seriously injure someone for it. 1 clean punch seems like enough.
Aw I ate there yesterday, it gave me a pretty uneasy feeling in my stomach. I think I am done with there. Damn Roy Rogers' employee couldnt understand I just wanted a number 1, not a double R burger too, said it 3 times after I clearly stated what I wanted 3 times. I knew gross shit happened in fast food restaurants, gross shit happens in regular restaurants. I have seen pizza which was thrown in the trash be pulled out and sold to a customer who came in late. I didn't have enough power or support to stop that as it was the individual in charge and others doing so. Another time I watched a hispanic cook drop food on the floor, chicken I think, and then pick it up and was about to begin cooking it, or continue cooking it. Only my seeing this and saying no and basically saying wtf stopped him from doing it. Its pretty disgusting some of the things that have happened to the food that you have surely eaten.
For licking your food you'd hit him in the face? Oh dear... Ah, yes, because it's impossible for someone to lick your food at a fancy restaurant This has nothing to do with the fact that they were serving fast food. You're safer in a well established fast food restaurant where they have a reputation to keep. If something like this gets out about a normal restaurant, that restaurant loses money. If this happened in McDonalds, thousands of restaurants lose money. This is why they are far more concerned with not screwing up like here. If anything, if you want to avoid people messing with your food and you have to go to a restaurant, fast food places are much more trustworthy.
I always wanted a Taco Bell in Ireland. I even wrote them, telling them to open one here called Tac O'Bell But now, I'm kinda glad they never took up my franchise ideas, saliva sauce is not something I particularly want.
They're not encouraging their workers to lick your food. You're just as likely to get your food licked in the richest restaurant in your area. They're just as strict at enforcing their rules with their employees. Don't get discouraged just because of one isolated incident. Even if you don't get turned on by it, why do you need to punch someone for something so trivial? It's not self defence if you do this. It's illegal for you to hit him, it's legal for him to lick your food. Why do you think that is?
Does anyone even know if those tacos were expired and he was throwing them away? Expired food is pretty frequent in the fast food business. It is bad PR regardless, but, who's to say those weren't going to the garbage right after the picture was taken?
I completely agree with you. This whole discussion is silly as it's based on the unfair assumption that these were served to customers.
If I am paying money for food, common sense says that unless I do something to deserve otherwise, you make and give me my food the way it's advertised. I don't see "with a side of saliva" included in the advertising or list of ingredients, do you? Naturally, I am a very calm and polite person. Certain things will show a side of me that not many see. Don't fuck with my family, friends, property/personal belongings or anything I consume. It's simple and common sense. If you don't have enough common sense to respect that, you deserve one punch to the face....more if you fuck with my family or friends.
So this is because you didn't get what you paid for? So you go to McDonald's and ask for a bacon double cheeseburger and they give you a hamburger instead, do you punch the worker who did this to you?
There's a difference between a mistake and adding something to a food item that most would consider disgusting and inappropriate. If I knew someone licked, spit in or did whatever disgusting thing they could think of to my food and I just smiled, what sort of incentive would that give them to not do the same time and time again? You give me the wrong order? I'll ask that you please give me what I ordered or give me my money back. You add any bodily fluids to my food and I find out about it? I'll gladly punch you in the face and call us good.
The funny thing is Taco Bell released a statement to the effect of saying those tacos were only being used in training employees on certain menu items and were about to be discarded anyway lol yeah I'm sure...
It has everything to do with it. Fast food restaurants employ generally younger and less experienced individuals, some which haven't even graduated High School yet. Higher quality restaurants employ actual cooks with experience. If you're getting paid minimum wage, it's likely that you don't care about your job as much as someone who is getting paid above minimum wage. It all comes down to the type of people each job attracts, and minimum wage jobs attract younger individuals, which are more likely to do crap like this and post pictures about it on Facebook.
Wow ridgecrest? Figures, nothing better to do in that slow ass town, and Um yeah if that kid licked my taco, he deserves a punch or two.... wait wut?
I believe that. Why do you assume they're lying? And if this person switched your burger on purpose (gave you a cheeseburger instead of a bacon double cheeseburger), would you punch him? He did it on purpose and didn't give you what was advertised...
Because its an obvious ruse to deflect negative reaction from the public Public relations departments do this all the time.. And I know that you would believe just about anything http://forum.grasscity.com/pandoras-box/1219614-how-did-nicolas-cage-live-1870.html
