T5 vs. HPS/MH

    High Performance T5 Fluorescent Systems
    Can you use these for all stages of growth? I understand it works for veg, but for flowering? I have a friend that is trying to lean me away from HPS/MH tent setup and use these T5 setups. he says it works fine for all stages, I don't believe him lol

    follow your gut. floros are not going to grow as good as an hps,

    T5`s are great for seedlings, clones and short term vegging of a couple of plants. Depending on the T5 set up they work good for plants upto about 18-20 inches, after that its time to put them under a MH for more veg growth before being put into flowering cycle under an HPS. Even if only growing short plants I would not use them for flowering.

    I've got 4, 4 foot T5's I used for Veg and now flower with a Dif Spectrum.
    My grow journal is in my Sig, it is my first grow.
    picture's don't lie, I grew Green queen/Lemon Kush.
    7 plants over 2 feet each.
