T5 at Home depot

    Just picked up a 2ft, 2 lanp T5 at Home Depot for $24 bucks. Didn't come with high output lamps, but I just changed out the bulbs. They also stock a 4' 1 and 2 lamps as well as 3' 1 and 2 lamps. The hydro shops in my area don't carry 3' bulbs however. Hope this helps somebody out.

    Sorry home, the HD ballast won't get it with a HO bulb. They are made for the 27w (IIRC) STANDARD T-5's and NOT the 55w HO bulbs.

    I thought the same as you, till I did my research.

    I've been running one with ho's for about a week, it seems to be working fine, is it a fire hazard?
