Hello, I'm back with another grow journal. I have 2 Pure Kush clones vegging. Somewhere around the month mark. Running 6 42w 6500k, and 4 not sure... 18w? 5500k. Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. Three speed exhaust pc fan. Regular average intake pc fan.
Update: Getting really bushy from Lst. One of em are almost ready for flower box. Cut some clones, looks like they are clinging onto life.
Update: Added another lady on the 30th. Both clones are happier with their own box, Pure kush is an insanely clone-able strain. For some reason I always have a really high success ratio with clones; And all I do is dip them in hormone gel and let them sit in soil; & periodically mist em with root anti shock/transplant water. They just tend too take longer to root, ~3 weeks give or take; But thats low budget, and almost 100% success ratio, so I can't complain. The bigger ones bushing up nicely, getting nice n' hairy. Thee other is still getting used to the new environment. Maintaining a cool 77F with a 30% Humidity.
Update: Thangs getting sticky an hairy. But I need help with some pest control. Noticed weird white/yellow spots on fan leaves. Then one of the white spots moved when I touched it. It was a white/yellowish worm, larvae looking thing. You can see in pictures where my hand are holding leaf & I should be fine angling the hps like so, no? [Some branches reaching higher than others] I heard everything from silverwater..? and different types of oil. But what would you recommend for pest control during flowering?
Update. Sprayed the hell with neem oil. Hopefully I can get away with not doing it again since I'm flowering.
Update. Most of the neem wetness dissipated so I lowered light to regular height. The clones in the veg box are taking off and bushing up. (Forgot to pic those).
Update. Everything's taking off. Almost time for clones. Not sure why, all uploads are auto rotating upon upload via grasscity.
Update; crystals, crystals everywhere. Some yellowing fan leaves, which is to be expected this late into flowering. Also started adding malasses. Started with 1tsp per gallon
I'm starting to get curious what to do with all the trim, I mean I used neem way early in flowering. So the buds are fine, but not sure my possibilities with all the popcorns and leafs. I wanted to make budder or at least bubble hash. But I'm not sure what I can do with the neem treated material. I sure as hell don't wanna throw it all away and be wasteful. Also feel free to post on this thread and ask questions and ect. Just no thread hijacking.
After reading I came to the conclusion I probably can't make any concentrates with neem treated trimmings, and I probably have to toss the trim in the trash. What else can I use for pest control that won't effect making hash, and is just as effective for pests? I was really looking forward to make edibles for my Grammy, she has breathing problems and has issues smoking her medication, and is to stubborn for vaporizing. I will continue to neem vegging but I need something for flowering, I heard mixed things about azamax. Please need some guidance fellow blades I've been growing on and off for years and I can't come up with anything and feel like a novice.
Update, leave continue to turn yellow, which I'm hoping its due to bud focusing, I'm at week 5 out of 9. And I also have this weird dirt/dust residue on leaves. Still can't figure it out.
