Hi Well its what the title ses...lol......Hi to all.. I have been looking at alot of grows and everybody who does hydro right say its the best grow for yield and its speed...... The only real arguement seems to be the taste of the final product when smoked....... Well im going to have to smoke it and make up my own mind....i cant just go by what people say....... so here we go......i made my BBs like the one here http://forum.grasscity.com/showthread.php?t=35309&page=1 i modified it a bit....just 2 pumps for the 2 buckets...they have 2 outlets so if one breaks down i can use one pump untill i get the other one sorted....dont think ill have to do that but atleast its there if i need it...otherwise one pump per bucket both outlets pumping air in.....cant have to many bubbles a... and the tubes go in the bucket lid..... I germd some seeds the put them in some ver and per mix on top of the clay balls and we are offfff......the seeds are my own taken from plants ive grown from bag seed...i know there indice....well hope they are...should be ...lol...anyway they have broken serface dont now if you can see in the pic...i can coz i know what im looking for....3 seeds to one pot....Bpp explanes why in that thread i put the link to..... heres pics

Looks like you have everything under control. Can't wait to see these girlies grow. Because it is seeds hopefully you can pull off a good ratio of at least 1 guy 1 female. Mmm, I want to start hydro, but I am at a lack of space right now. As well as cash. So we'll see, maybe I will learn a few things and maybe I will do the same thing. If I do a hydro grow, it will be with two buckets, two clones, one northernberry, and one AK47. Hehe. Well I'll be watching this baby. Good growing.

Aye, now that I have my rooms set I may try some hydro attemps alongside the soil stuff I am doing to test growth rate, yield, taste etc . . . can't wait to see how this goes, just need time to read the link you attached above lol. Gg
Hi its been a week and i had the plants by the window for the first few days then i put them in the veg area.......and lost one...it was replaced with a back up.. .... unoit how big do i let them get befor putting them into the BBs........i would of thought soon.....
HIGH All, I put mine in right away...with just plain water of coarse. Fill the water up to the bottom of the net pot and hand feed them till the roots hit the water. Watering them 2..3 times a day.
ill be watchin this one. is it really fair to compare hydro to soil? i mean taste an all, not grow time or yeild, we all know what fairs better. i think the stones are completely different, they are all the same for hydro, no difference there imo, but i can tell a various difference in soil. maybe its jus me, i dont know. anyways, ill be watchin, because i do have some questions. like my main one, are hydro budz more compact than soil?
Hows it...... unoit i hand fed them for a week and ive just put them in the BBs....thanks for keeping an eye on me... as you can see by my message to unoit the young ones are in the BBs.......im keeping the water level high at the mo.....just waiting for those roots to take of......the only chems i added was ph down as my water is ph 7.....im aiming too keep my ph at 6.5...... i didnt like the way the air stones where floating aroundso i glued them to the bottom of the BBs.. only comment so far is those air pumps are loud...on the box it seid advanced design for quiet performance...thats bullshit.....i wouldnt like to have bought the ones that didnt have the advanced design.....they would have been loud... for some reason i feel like going for a swimm.........wounder if its that sound of bubbles in the backround.....laters
HIGH All, Mang eYe is on All of you.(rubs hands together and let out a wicked Mu Ha Ha)...it's why I Love The City....with the Blades and Bladies like you people how can you not want to come here....plus...being unemployed now and on mmmm...holidays...ya a holiday..just can't tell Rocdog she'll want to come *LOL*. You might want to bring the PH down around 5.9....Me I go 5.6 to 5.9..like one will have 5.6 and another 5.9. Your pumps maybe tie them up so they are O.F.F.F. the ground. 3 plants in one Bucket...I know your thinking you have a 50/50 chance, what if All 3 are Female...well you'll see in few months. Yes hand feeding the water at this point is the most important part of their BB journey...just wait till you see them roots hit the water and then when you feed them...wicked!!!!
LOL..........my crazy canadian freind wow i got the ph wrong then....ok down it goes.......might have to buy another ph meter this ones driving me mad.......tried the pumps in the air on the floor.....still loud....might put them in the roof...not sure yet.....and the air stones became unstuck.....lol...i will leave them be.. unoit do you think i would be able to grow more than one plant per bucket????if i cant will they take to soil ok after being in BBs?????? thanks laters jay
HIGH All, it's best to leaf them alone now. Sure you can grow more than one plant...it's just maybe one will grow better than the other. My LHM once put two different strains in one and one plant liked HIGH ferted feedings while the other suffered for it...It's why I do clones in the BBs. Just keep giving those babies love...it'll work out.
Come on man give us a pic! Im definitely gonna go hydro for my next grow alright, Probably nft cos of the vertical height, but bb's just sound so simple! Any1 can get the stuff to build one and its freekin cheap! And from wot ive seen, they do their job very well! Good luck! CWL
***LOL*** Nothing to show you yet........growth rate so far is the same as a soil grow......i knew this stage would be..... gues what............ive got what looks like another freaking mutent.....wtf......if i keep getting mutents im changing my name to something like the mutent king......lol...... pics coming soon ctw....one of the reasons im having ago at the BBs is coz its so simple......and if i like the smoke in the end ill be looking into other ways of doing hydro or may be even aero then again if i can get those air pumps to be a bit quieter i might stay with the BBs...... ....laters
