T-break break

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by bateu a nave, Jan 2, 2019.

  1. Hi guys! Good new year!

After 4 years of toking, the last 2, smoking like 4 or 5 times a week, and the last 6 months almost every day, i´m planing a 30 days t-break. In this 4 years, i just stop for maximum 10 days, and time by time, 4 or 5 days. But now, my highs are very poor, so i decide to go long, but 30 days was scaring me :( so i ask for more experiants on t-breaks, if i break for 15 days, and after this i toke like 4 or 5 hits, if i percept my tolerance down for a good way, i will stop the t-break, but if i see my high with not so many changes, i can go for more 15 days. The question is, this 4 or 5 hits, will destroy my 30 days of tolerance break, or i can continue without tolerance troubles?

  2. There's too many numbers in your post for my old brain to understand what you're saying. Tolerance breaks work by first cleaning out THC and various metabolites and restocking neurotransmitter chemicals. That only takes a few days. The next stage is repairing or regenerating receptors that were mothballed when your body tried to rebalance your endocannabinol system by downregulating receptors. The pot you've been smoking makes your body think it was producing too much natural transmitters such as anandamide, which your body uses in minute quantities, so it partially shuts down by eliminating working transmitters. The regeneration process takes several weeks but it takes months to really get it cleared out and in good working order.

So as far as your question goes just follow what you already suspect which is the longer your t break goes the closer to that original high you can get. You'll never get it completely but your highs will certainly improve. What most of us do after a t break is start smoking about as much as before, our highs are nice but our tolerance quickly comes back. The best thing you can do to keep a low tolerance is smoke only once a day and never take a booster smoke when the first bowl starts wearing thin. Hard to do.

  3. you're taking a break from weed, I tried reading your story, but got lost half way. You're scared of? taking a break from weed?

  4. 15 days is sufficient time for your tolerance to go down Don't start with 4 or 5 hits, start with 2, trust me, it'll get you high. The only difference between 15 days and 30+ days is that if you not careful after the 15 days you tolerance will shoot back up quickly. For me it seems like 30 days is almost a complete reset

  5. Thank you guys
    Sorry about the long text...
The real point of my doubt is... after 15 days break if i get 2 hits... this will destroy my t break if i decide to go for 30 days? Or if i do this i will do 2 tbreaks of 15 days each and not a 30 days tbreak because the 2 hits that i get i the middle of the t break destroys the entire break

  6. Just go a month and stop thinking about it. A two week break won't be as effective but it will help. Or do it both ways and report back with the correct answer.

  7. Try Krantom tea or Kava tea. Helps me take T-breaks.

  8. Hey bud.. Been there done that and let me tell you.. if you plan on taking a T-break and going right back to your usual routine, your "glorious" highs wont last very long.. My recommendation to prolong the good feelings you get is to start off with low thc weed. The worst you can find, and see how high that gets you. Chances are, after a month, very high. Then from their, take it slow with your raise in THC. As you find the cheaper bud start to feel less and less glorious, up it a notch.

If weed with Low/High thc isn't available to you and your stuck with whatever your dealer has, My recommendation is to get a pipe with a small bowl, or better yet, a one hitter, which will more forcefully lower your intake.

While your on your T-break, what I personally like to do is Vape. Sometimes with a low nicotine level such a 3mg. I do not, nor have i ever smoked cigs but what I really crave during my t-breaks is just the sensation of smoking and that small bit of nicotine gives me a feeling that reminds me of smoking. The vape pen helps much more than cold turkey, missing and thinking about how good weed is and will feel to take just one puff. Doesn't have to be the fanciest but it'll always be there for your next t-break so I would say choose wisely. I also wouldn't worry about getting addicted to nicotine, you have weed after all and trust me, if your not a smoker, you will definitely choose that wonder high from weed over that vape pen filled with nicotine e-juice LOL. you're still worried, go with a 0mg nicotine e-juice, although i find that with 0mg... You dont feel anything whatsover... and although you may like the sensation of smoking, I personally find a slight feeling when vaping aids much more. And by feeling, I'm mainly talking about the light headedness you'll get. you may even eventually find it relaxing.. More relaxing than suffering with nothing, that is. Goodluck Mate

  10. Everyone's system is different, but I would highly recommend doing some intense exercising, like intense treadmill and elliptical type of shit.Do some reasonable lifting with freeweights and stuff to strengthen your core for better lung capacity and control, and use heavy Cranberry supplements, flush your system out to the best extent you can. Do this by drinking at least a minimum of a gallon of water a day. Your tolerance will respond to this and it will hit you in a whole new, different way, man.

  11. It takes at least 30 days to completely reset. At 15 days your tolerance will be much lower than it is now, but if you smoke during a tolerance break, I find that kind of resets it. I try to wait the full 30 days, then after 30 days I get so high I be putting blunts and bowls out early. I'm on a tbreak now for a job. It will be tough, you might have a few symptoms (Don't let anyone say you won't, weed does have symptoms that may arise once quitting cold turkey for a month.

Symptoms I have are sweating palms, hands, feet, and forehead. Decreased appetite because I would always smoke before meals. I always used to dome a blunt before I went to sleep. Now I can't sleep and I'm a little more irritable. I was smoking 3.5g's a day to have these symptoms, about an ounce a 7 day week. Been toking over a decade. Some people have no withdrawals at all.

  12. Thanks for the good tips... Sometimes when i can´t smoke, i feel some withdrawls, anxiety, nervous, and sleep difficult, but these days, after open this threads, how i´m preparing for start the t-break, this withdrawls not appears too much, hope continuous like this, i´m starting today, not so decided to go 30 days :) but... let´s see.

  13. Hey guys!
I break my break in third day of it. My parents go travel so i go to their house to take care, and there, is where i start to smoke weed when i was young, and has a great view on the roof... so, i go there, and after 3 days of t-break, i had a great high, so i decide to reduce my smoke session to only 3 or 4 days a week, this way i can get good highs and don´t need to stop for 30 days.

  14. I’m sorry if you’ve wasted any money at this point. I do not advise getting a vape as I previously mentioned. Or atleast vape with the nicotine from that is at 0mg (no nicotine). I’ve recently began to start to feel sick (head area) when I vape for about 1-2 hours and the worst part about it is that I’ve been using it for about 2 months now and have actually have built a slight addiction/dependency to this bull crap. If you can, which may be hard. Please go hard turkey. This isn’t were life is at bro...

I wish you the absolute best and hope your holding strong. Exercise helps majority and if you can feel the times your bored with a hobby like beginning to grow (debatable), customizing your car, or just finding out what you like - it may even be games. Think about what you did before becoming a stoner, it may help.

  15. I appreciate how you came back to say substituting nicotine for THC wasn't a good idea. Using any physically addicting substance regularly will lead to addiction and a nicotine addiction eventually leads to a cigarette. I hope it's not too late for you, it may be easy to stop now but in a few months you may find yourself with a cig in your hand. And you may not have as much control over it as you think, is nicotine your first substance addiction?
