T-Break Advice

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Yung Bizzy, Jan 9, 2011.

  1. So it's been 8 days since my T-Break due to my New Year's resolution. I've never taken a serious T-Break before ( 4 years smoking daily, thought it was time ) and finding it pretty difficult during the weekend...turning down a couple blunts yesterday at a party was harder then I expected but I managed to pull through, felt somewhat satisfied as I sipped my brew.

I basically stopped because it takes about half a gram to get on the level I want and that just won't do anymore, I want that feeling again after I take a hit and it takes me to a whole different world. Before when I smoked I only felt that way for about 5-10 minutes after the session then I'm burnt out.

So my question is how long do you guys usually aim for during your T-Break?
How often do you take them?
I know its gonna be worth it, but how do you guys stay motivated?

  2. It really depends how long for everyone. I used to smoke nearly every day for about 8 months or so. I decided to take a 2 week long break. The first few times I lit up I got much higher than usual. Honestly though I went back to smoking every day and I don't think my t-break did much. Most people that I've talked to have said that at least a month is necessary to get rid of all of the THC stored in body fat. I could be wrong but I definitely play to take a much longer break next time.

Staying motivated was very easy for me. I just kept thinking to that first time I smoked again. I really have no problem not smoking over a period of time. It's just a hell of a lot more boring.

  3. if you smoked 4 years daily you should take a 2 months break, after about day 10 it gets so much easier, I took a one month after I had been smoking every day for 2 years. and that was last year. I kept cool by doing acid and smoking salvia lmao. at the time my boy had connects to as much acid as he wanted whenever, I think i fried my brain in that month, but yeah, i'm not exactly recommending that you do that, but it's sure fun. The best time to take T-Breaks is the fall summer when all the shrooms (around me atleast) are plentiful, then you can get fucked up on those like once a week. Good luck!

  4. I'm aiming for a month. The first couple days where the hardest but it's getting a little easier each day. Been drinking beer to help with the urges so its all good.

Never was into the LSD, did it a couple times and I prefer mushrooms any day. I like to stick to the natural stuff ya digg.

Each day I'm looking forward more and more until I pack that first bowl of kush, gonna keep smoking that reefer sending me straight to heaven.

  5. The only breaks I take is when I can't get my hands on any herb or I need to take a drug test. But I heard a mere 2 week break severely brings yer tolerance down.

I took a 20 day break recently with only 1 night of smoking with friends, so it was like two, 1 1/2 week breaks but I felt goooood smoking the first bowl of the year with zero tolerance. And the next few smoke sess's were pretty intense too.

Bottom line: T-breaks are 100% worth it.

  6. I took like a 3 week TBreak recently. I only smoked one night 2 weeks in, and it was only a small bowl pack. It was nice time overall. Luckily I also kinda hermited up over this break, so it was easy to stay away from bud. I ended yesterday and had a toke sessions with my buddy and his new Medicali...I fell asleep and woke back up still high :D

  7. Well usually t-breaks do very little for me I get a bag usually once a week and it usually last two to three days and I break for usually two to four weeks and I'm actually starting a t-break right now for around two weeks but I also exercise a decent amount and has a noticeable effect but Ur tolerance will come back pretty quick

  8. I live on a campus and i dont smoke when i go home for any breaks. so basically just taking a week or two every couple of months works pretty well for a T-break Schedule
