Syrian Uprising, Civil War, Intervention, Etc.

  1. Turkey has let in loads of refugees if I'm not mistaken.

  2. Other countries have taken in Syrian refugees. But as countries have learned with the Palestinians the refugee camps turn into centers of crime and slums pretty fast. Imagine if the government built a refugee camp next to your town and shit was getting stolen and vandalized, women started getting raped and even murdered, would you want those refugees to remain there?

  4. Havent seen or heard of any protests at american universities protesting about the 40,000 killed by assad or the 600 palestinians killed in syria....

  5. Though some levels of Syrian culture are indeed backward, their military would not be one of them.

The russians and Iran have made sure they have some decent hardware.

  6. They don't protest anything good at American universities anymore..

we need a Republican in office so people can be anti war again..

  7. haha :p

  8. The situation needs less people fighting/bombing/murdering, not more.

There is no good side in the 'Syria' conflict, because the good side is huddled in a half-finished house to keep out of the rain, wondering if the stores will have enough bread for them to keep from starving.

  10. Take away the make-up/propaganda and see the true face of politics. I kinda feel sorry for the people who think/thought supporting violent movements can/could bring peace.

Very insightful article if it's true.
