So I have been running 24/7 on my auto flowers and they seem to be doing ok, I wanted to switch to 18/6 or 20/4 cause I read it was good to have a break from light (it also works out better for personal reasons). So is it ok/suggested to switch from 24/7 to 18/6 or 20/4?
well, not it's not good for the plants... it has no effect on the plants... it's good for your wallet tho.
its growing fast. get the light a little closer. switch to 18/6 even during the summer solstice, we get around ~12 hours of light a day sativa is native to the eastern mediterranean, near the black sea, and indica to the middle east, around Afghanistan, but the climate has changed since then and Afghanistan is no longer as great a place for cannabis to flourish naturally. even at these spots on the earth, the sun stays out during the summer for ~12-14hrs
What lights are you using as I have just stuck up a thread with a few pics of mine at 14 days and they look huge in comparison to yours
I took them out of the box to take the picture, the lights are about 2 inches away. I'm glad to hear they are growing fast
Ah ok, I did a small stealth grow under a few cfls I had lying about (4x 26w) out of curiosity and I remember my growth to be slow in comparison to my HPS bulb. The plant ended up not much bigger than my ones are now, was still a nice smoke... shame it was smoked in 3 days
put a fan in there to produce a synthetic current. the better you can re-create nature, the better the plants will do. fans are cheap and you only need one blowing above the canopy. it will really help get oxygen in the soil
Yeah I would say it was similar in size, I didnt really look at it much. It was under lights 24/0 and I didnt weigh the end result, probably 6/7g I would guess
Sweet man, I ordered an 85w 5000k 4700 lumens cfl (self ballasted). All I need is about 5 grams out of each of these plants since I plan to sell most of it to buy a grow box.
