The legend of the Swedish beast has swirled for nearly four centuries, with some 200 sightings reported in the lake in central Sweden. "On Thursday at 12:21 pm, we filmed the movements of a live being. That's what I'm seeing, but it's getting major media attention, and I am wondering if I should just get a surveillance camera and stage myself a nice little hoax. Everybody's doing it, big footers, loch nessers, ufo-ers, there must be a lot of money in hoaxing these days. I thought the best giveaway was the fact that the guy saying its for real, is the head of the local merchants association...hmmmm, why would he do this? Surely not to sell timeshares at the lake?
