Sweating during sleep

Discussion in 'Fitness, Health & Nutrition' started by random12345, Dec 15, 2013.

  1. Anyone else do this or have a remedy for this, when u sleep I sweat buckets, soak the bed blankets sheets pillows everything wake up soaked dripping off of me, have to run to shower to not freeze to death what's up anyone know

  2. Are you an older woman going through menopause?

In all seriousness, unless you are having some crazy intense dreams or using to many blankets or keeping yourself to warm at night... I think you may be best to see a doctor. Not that its something serious, just better get it looked at to know for sure what it is exactly.

  4. Maybe you have a thyroid condition? Have you tried sleeping with a thin blanket? That's what I do during the summer since I don't like to burn up power with my AC.

  5. Should tone down those gay interracial barber shop dreams, those get you everytime don't they?

This would pretty awkward if you were sharing the bed like spooning with your gf and you both wake up and you're both covered in your nasty sweat. Sent from my phone

  7. The only other people I've heard of his happening to are fairly obese and it happens when they eat late at night. So, take from that what you will.Sent from my SGH-I747M using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  11. Drink some chamomile tea and slow down on the coffee

  12. Cover your entire body in anti perspirent deodorant. Problem solved. Sent from my phone

  13. Make sure all of your blankets are 100% cotton. All this shit nowadays is polyester (plastic) it will make you sweat.

There are various reason for the night sweats among men.   Some of them scarier than others.

    1. Too many blankets or the room temperature being too high\t
    2. Stress and anxiety are the main causes of night sweats among men\t
    3. medications such as anti-depressants, acetaminophin (tylenol), viagra\t
    4. low testosterone \t
    5. one of the earliest signs of lymphoma is night sweats\t
    6. infections can cause night sweats.  Especially those involving the heart valves\t
    7. hypoglycemia or low blood sugar.
Have you talked to a doctor about this yet?

  15. Do you drink enough water throughout the day? You ought to see your doctor about this.
