So i'm going to be having a fairly serious abdominal surgery in may (gastric bypass). I was wondering whether or not smoking pot would affect my recovery or increase risks in surgery etc. If anyone has any information, please let me know. i smoked alot after my surg. a different surg alltogether, but same shit diff. pile. for me, it helped throught the pain and helping me sleep at nite. but as for healing, i'm not sure really. i would imagine it doesn't help the healing process. i'd ask ur doc. he/she will tell you. tell them u smoke, don't hide it. i didn't anyways. good luck!
bud i doubt its going to be a question of should i smoke just where can i get some more cause if your having that kind of surgery youll be hurten something fierce for at least a couple of days so yes do smoke, and yes do be open with it to your doc.. jsut dont be a dick about it.... although i dont really see how anyone could be a dick in a predickament like that
