  1. Good news for all you paranoid people ;), or if you're not really aware of your rights as a citizen

Portland Progressive Examiner: Supreme Court limits vehicle search

  2. So, does this mean that an officer can't search a vehicle unless he has already arrested the driver?

  3. it means they cant search your car just because they have arrested you

they need a reason ie probable cause

  4. But could they search your car if they haven't arrested you?

  5. there always typical reason ...." your suspicious"

  6. maybe its just me, but there are probably 10 ways around this. Cops will always find a loophole...

  7. agreed. cops are fucked up now days, economys bad and they are fiending off anything

  8. Still can't without probable cause or something in plain sight. I've exercised my right to not be searched numerous times against the GSP(and if you live in GA, you know what they're about), and they let me go without any further questions. It really is all about what you say and how you say it.

  9. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUck Yeah!
