Support for Legalization goes UP after Legalization

  1. When the money starts to show up, you'll start seeing the support explode. It's the same thing that happened with alcohol in the 20s. There was/is a huge demand for an illegal substance that had/has a huge black market and no revenue being made by the government(actually losing money trying to enforce the law). Eventually, they'll legalize it and tax the crap out of it like they're doing right now in Colorado(something like 40%). Can't wait for that day though because I think weed will benefit alot of people that don't even realize it yet.

  2. No upturn in the economy to keep budgeting millions to prosecute marijuana criminals plus taxes from an established market for the taking will bring a lot of states on line,,they really only have two choices now,,build more prisons or start taking the market,,,delay translates into less revenue as more states come online and interstate commerce begins.

Eventually the sin taxes will disappear as the highways are not filed with mayhem and domestic violence calls start reducing,,alcohol sales and DUI's fall as they have in MMJ states,,,when none of SAM's fears materialize the justification for sin taxes evaporates.

At that time the market will be run by supply and demand instead of over taxing and regulation in legal states now and black market prices in others. We could get down to the $20 per ounce that Rand reported would be the price if the US legalized sales and production.
