Supplemental lighting

Discussion in 'Lighting' started by Rhoney8, Aug 14, 2017.

  1. I am in 3 weeks into flower. 2 plants in a 12sqft room. Running a kind led 1200w. I also have supplemental lighting via 4 2700k flourecents producing about 3000 lumens each. My question is, is my light from the flourecents going to waste? Keeping them on should yield for better, denser buds right?

  2. Here are some pics

  3. Yes generally it will help. But you need to have them with in inches of the plant since they don't have the reach as the LED's do

  4. I didn't know kind made a 1200, what model is that?

  5. Sorry typo on kind it is king.
I have led 18 inches away. I did lower flourecents to inches away so they do penetrate. Thank you for replies and help.
