  6. 18 Days! Sweet lookin plants dude!

  7. Thanks

Last time I filled it up most of the way with just 2 plants. got 10 zips. I am shooting for a pound. I was gonna scrog but I am just too lazy and too busy with the baby.

    Thanks alot doc.

Gotta love DWC. Once you get it dialed in, I don't believe anything will grow FASTER than it. Aero might grow as fast, but i don't think faster, plus it is way harder to maintain.

BTW so everybody knows, I am growing in ~80* water right now with nothing but tap water (120ppm@.7) GH micro/bloom, and hygrozyme. The key is ALOT of air and fast circulation breaking the surface of the water alot. And also to make sure your system is sealed up and sterile. I rarely open it, less than once a week. You can definitely grow without a chiller if you are careful.

  8. I agree a chiller is not necessary so long as there is plenty of aeration and kept clean. Good stuff and congrats on the baby. I just had my first one as well two weeks ago. How old is yours?

  9. Congratulations to you as well. Mine is 4 days old and he is my first as well.

On the chiller subject....i would swear half the people on another board I am active on would tell you it is flat out impossible to grow in 80* water. They also swear it takes 6 weeks to revegg a flowering clone lol. The lesson is don't believe everything you read on the internet. Just because somebody can't pull it off doesn't mean it won't work lol. I have just about given up all the assumptions that I initially had about root rot and a variety of other things and have found the same as you, if you keep stuff clean and sealed, you can get away with a lot.

  10. Thanks bro! I still enjoy the use of chillers but don't see too much difference (if any) in growth and have never had root rot ever. I sometimes put frozen bottles of water in the reservoir to cool it down some to increase the o2 levels in the solution. Since we have such similar systems, you should come take a gander at my thread and we can spit suggestions back and forth as we go. Peace

  12. Check your thread

Thanks. Lets hope everthing goes gravy.

  13. Yum. I like gravy. If you are worried about water temps., check out the DIY water chiller on my thread.

  14. Yeah KOG's chiller is sweet. You should make one for sure. I just picked up my 1/10hp eco plus from my buddy today as well as my tri-meter so I am about to hook those up...Finally

  15. Sweet! Toys!

  16. Yeah it's pretty sad when I build three rooms and they all have a chiller and tri-meter except my own!!! But I just finished over at one and I am in the process of taking it down and adding the lights and such to the other two... One being the one in my thread :)

  17. I could easily get a chiller, but I really just haven't had any reason to. Even when the nutes get to 80* i don't get any adverse effects. I used to be much more worried about the temps but not anymore. Definitely for people who have had root rot issues though...

  18. How's the ladies looking bro?

  19. Let me whip out a couple, I will post in a few

  20. PIC UPDATE:

I took these under the HPS in raw format and post processed the white balance (in photoshop, cause the HPS looks super yellow). Let me know if it looks like I am doing it right (or wrong).
