supercropping ?

  1. do you guys think pinching/twisting the stems causes too much stress to the plants? i know it can increase yeild big time but it seems it would cause too much stress/many males by doing this... what you guys think?

  2. If thats what your considering supercroping then no, It really doesn't cause to much stress, though some strains deal with stress better than others so recovery times to vary...

  3. isn't pinching/twisting a form of supercropping... i might just be getting my lingo mixed up...

  4. sorry nothing to do with the thread but shit vokal what happened to your av???

  5. Frailty: I thought twisting/pinching falls under "supercropping", though from the last bit of research I did only "shank snaping, toping, FIM and LST" came up...who knows ever week something new comes up that can help our crops...but yeah pinching/twisting should cause the least amount of stress out of all of em (well maybe not LST but I'm no plant how would I know:p)...

  6. ^^ avatar he means...

ive heard of pinching the stems to beef up the plant, but not a form of super cropping...

  7. i could see how topping could yeild more, but shaking your plant? this wouldn't much more than building up the stem and making it able to hold more weight, i could be wrong, i think your best method is to tie the plant down, 1 plant over 2 feet squared, pin down any new growth once it has reached about 2 inches long, prune the tips of established branhes to create 2 new shoots, and eventually pin these down e.t.c basicly with the light reaching almost every bud on the plant you get a carpet of head rods, and alot more yeild than any twisting, pinching, and shaking.
