Tell me what you think and if I have done it right, did the bends about 3 hours ago and have not returned upright my question is should I do the other nodes as well, and how long to wait after supercropping if your ready to put into flowering?
i think u need to give it more time, its a plant and it can't be expected to grow THAT fast.. just don't rush it man
also, next time try not to pull the stems so hard that they bend that drastically.. they shouldn't be folded, but curved instead.
Yeah man i'd tie a bit of string on the top of the plant and just bend it down gradually more and more each day but never as much that its near breaking i've just done this on my 3 beutys and its worked really well i'm two weeks into flowering and two of the plants have 10+ head buds can't wait i'll get some pics on for you shortly
Wow. That looks pretty bent to me. I wonder if the stems can still carry good nutes and water to the main stems? You need to let it be a gradual thing. Tie the string up and tighten it every other day. They only grow about a 1"-1/2" each day.
supercropping and tying plants down are two different things. Just keep an eye on it, and if it starts to come back up, don't let it. You want that horozontial growth (at least i'm assuming considering you're trying to supercrop) IMO it looks like you did a good job. Keep it green.
What he said. Those bends are pretty tame by supercropping standards. Some people break the main stem and fold the plant in half so the top of the plant is pointing straight down.
fyi, the title says supercrop! not LST! I've been looking into the supercrop method as well and your plants look good to me. I watched one of the urban grower videos on youtube and he briefly showed how to supercrop. it was real quick and easy but he bent all the main stems so that none were left standing. keep us posted.
Either BB+NL or FAT RUSSIAN (chronic+white russian) i forgot to label them properly so don't quiet know the excact type but i'm sure i'll have fun finding out SMOKE ON!!!
I've never heard of supercropping like this... My experience with supercropping involves Topping, twisting, tying, and that's it. You can top the plant, then take the branches coming from the main branch and tie their ends down as low as the rest of the plant, allowing for more plant in less height. And when you 'break the pulp' in the stalk, it doesnt mean BREAK the stem. You're suppose to give it a little mini-indian burn every three inches. You pinch it with your thumb and index finger, both hands, and twist gently in opposite directions til you feel the pop. That pop shows that the pulp is broken inside but the stem itself is not damaged. This makes for bigger stalks earlier. But....every time I've accidently broken one....it didn't turn out 'super' by any means, and it looks like you just broke 12 on purpose.
