Looking real good OG! Wish I was progressing that well at the moment. The experiment with putting my hazes on megacrop has been a failure. Basically lost 4 weeks. The volume you need to use to get the right dosage for what the plant needs is VERY precise... 0.2g per gallon too little and deficiencies show up, 0.2g too much and stuff gets locked out causing other deficiencies. Been driving me crazy. Keeping my auto on MC for now to finish up, and might even try it on more autos to experiment. My photos, however, are back on Botanicare as of Sunday. Stems are fairly brittle (probably too much Nitrogen when on MC), but new roots have shown up this week. The brittleness caused a major setback last week - went to start some LST on the new mains and the branches just broke off. So stressful to have plants that are 8wks old but look like they are about 3wks. Friend of mine who took the OTHER haze clones I made is prepping me a trio of clones in case these don't pull through - kinda funny as those will be from the same mother plant as the three I've nearly killed.
@Vincent the no till soil receipe; earthwrm castings 2lbs, seabird guano 1/2 lb. pearlite 1/2 lb....using solo cup 1/2 alfalfa , 1/2 kelp, 1/2 crab meal, 1/2 rock dust, 1/4 bone meal, 1/4blood meal, 1/8 sulfa po magnesium, 1/2 grnd malted barley row 6
Sorry to hear it man. They are so fucking delicate when young, and hydro takes it to a whole other level. Hopefully your luck will start swinging the other way now.
White Widows - final topping for 8 mains 2 days ago, transplanting to final buckets in next 2 days, then grow out tips and begin veg training upwards. Hoping for 12:12 by mid-may.
White widows: transplanted to 6-gal buckets w/ 2 bubblers, new training cage bases, and full veg nutes.
C99s: “best” 2 clones transplanted, first pair of mains tied down. Next topping (for 4 mains/plant) in a few days.
Liking the base of the new cage. Hopefully the wider top will let you get a little lower with that swirl LST-ing technique you did last round.
Thanks. With only 2 plants per cab/tent, i want to use extra space partly for more space between mains (light penetration) and partly for more space between mains and walls (temp & humidity control), while better using cab/tent shape. For square tent i’m hoping to do rectangular shaped cages with 4 pairs of mains lengthwise. The tent has a few extra inches of useable height and the white widows are supposed to be the taller of the two strains, so i may have to swirl. The c99s are supposed to be short, the cab rectangular, so their cages will probably end up more square shaped, without need for swirl. We’ll see how they actually grow. This design is pretty flexible.
