Super soil no-till?

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by Kdebi, Jul 27, 2018.

  1. Okay guys so I currently have an in door grow going using the no till revisited instructions and watering schedule everything's been going great so far about 5 weeks in now. My other grow is an outdoor grow I started In early may using subcools supersoil recipe everything with that is also going well. My question is can I reuse my super soil in the same way that i can with the no till recipe. I spent a lot of money for this mix and it would be ashamed to just throw it away when it's all said and done. I currently have a living much growing in the supersoil pots. I figure if i just cover the pots with straw over winter that i should be able to use them again next year right??

  2. No till is a practice, not a recipe. So yes, reuse it! Covering it with straw is a good idea. If you aren't using the soil until next season, make sure you water it. That is why I usually have a cover crop during the off season, having something growing in the soil tells me when to water and keep the whole thing rolling. Happy gardening!

  3. What do you recommend for cover crop im using white clover on my indoor grow?

  4. That'll work. I got some in my outdoor that simply won't die. Some guys have noticed mites like the clover. So some have switched to fenugreek and other crops.
