  1. I don't care how old it is, still one of the greatest games ever made and possibly one of the best competitive fighting games.

The video that got me all started (even if the Germ turned out to be a total disappointment)

  2. If there was ever a game that stirred up violent competition between me and my brother it was SSBM.
I agree with it being one of the greatest games made. I even prefer it over Brawl.

  3. I didn't really like Brawl as much...though I'm told that it has quite a bit of depth. I just prefered the pace of brawl...got you all pumped up after a hard day of [insert here].

  4. this game was so sick

  5. Man I was unstoppable in the smash brothers series. They fucked up Brawl by making it super fast paced for whatever reason.

I remember playin SSB for 64 and to train I'd play Me vs Three level 9 computers on a team. The computers were random characters and I always used pikachu that was my dude right there. I'd put it on 5 live stock or 20 or whatever and just destroy.

Playing a whole 99stock life is crazy. Did that a bunch of times. Solo and with friends.

  6. Yeah I was a big fan of this when I grew up, used to play it quite a bit at my neighbors house as I had a PlayStation and that when I was growing up.

Sometimes I wish I'd had a N64, Gamecube when I was growing up, but then I'm not too sure as the PS1, PS2 had a lot of classics.

  7. Ya can't really judge you there. I really liked games like FF VII and the PS2 was pretty awesome.

Though have to say that I have bought a game cube solely for this game (granted...gamecube is only $30 now used). used to play the hell out of it in college and managed to place decently in some tourneys with some of the major players (Ken, Edreese, etc...though definitely was not reputable by any standard). I wish they just remade it and made the option to make it online...and working properly!

  8. My buddies and I had hours of fun playing huge stock set VS mode:smoke:

Gotta agree with Leroy, so many external battles based on a video game. Tables and controllers have been broken. Over the past 10 years of video gaming with my buddies have forced the purchasing of canned beer during game night to protect against broken bottles.

  9. Good times on the game cube :)
