Due to root rot, my last plant was unfortunately cut short. I was using FloraNova Bloom and the stuff is really thick, and it was clogging my airstones. I don't have any sort of chiller or anything, so the water needs to be REALLY oxygenated.

This will be my first attempt at a SCRoG, so wish me luck!

What we have here is a Super Lemon Haze plant. I'm no longer running the FloraNova Bloom; instead, I am running the plain jane Lucas Formula with Micro and Bloom. The nute mix is so much cleaner. I also added 2 additional airstones to the res and switched back to the original Bubble Bucket. These little tupperware lids are too flimsy and the plants tend to fall over.

This is by far the most beautiful plant I have grown so far, to date. The internode spacing on this thing is INSANE! Here are a few pics!

  2. Very nice! Good luck mate.

  3. Thanks!

  4. An SLH scrog! Very cool. How high are you placing the screen?

  5. I don't know exactly, maybe 10-12 inches?

  6. I look forward to seeing the adventure unfold.

  7. looks nice:smoke:

Just the single plant, in 1 bucket?

  8. Indeed!

  9. Hey everyone, it's been about a week since the last update. It's growing along nicely, and should definitely reach the screen in another week. It doesn't want to grow tall, just out, which is a good thing I suppose. A little more veg time is needed, but hey, I've got time. I really like this 2 part Flora mix so much better than the FloraNovaBloom. Man that stuff is so messy! But THIS stuff is beautiful! The roots look so good not covered in that brown sludge!

  10. Looks happy, keep it up!

  11. Good lookin plant bro, we want more :)

  12. Picture update! Any ideas on when I should switch to 12/12? Also, do I keep training the tops after the switch, or just let em grow?

  13. nice idea
i grow the slh but gave up
just too much stretch and too long flowering and too little yield
    good for head stash only

  14. What do you mean, "too much stretch"? The internode spacing on this sucker is tighter than any I have ever seen!

  15. nice scrog action:bongin:

Prolly can start 12/12 whenever you want now.

Cant give any insite on training the tops after the switch, I overgrew my scrog I just started the switch on, and unless I want to use tie-downs, I dont have any room for training. Im going to see what I get with just letting it go straight up...Hoping for the best:D

    Flowering Day 3

Little update here! This thing is growing like a monster! I switched to 12/12 about 3 days ago; here comes the stretch! I'm just going to keep training branches until the tops actually produce the first little bud, then let it go from there. It seems like the obvious thing to do. If anyone else has insight on this, I'd really appreciate it! PICS!
