Hey GC, For the past 4 weeks I have been sprouting and vegging in my garden, 2 Barney's Farm Vanilla Kush Plants and 3 Green House Seeds Super Lemon Haze, Now this is my first grow so I've been sure to do a great deal of research before actually starting. The girls are 4 weeks old today and will have one more week before they get switched to 12/12 to flower. I am growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest medium, I'm very happy with the results that ffof has produced so far, the soil has provide enough nutes and good stuff to support early growing stages, just recently did I give my girks there first dose of Fox Farm Grow Big and they loved it. I am vegging under a 600w MH and will be flowering under 600w HPS lighting. I'll be working with Fox Farm Nute line, grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom, also looking into other additives such as Fox Farm Open Sesame, and other bloom stuff. So if you have any suggestions please let me know. From here on out I'll be posting weekly updates on the girls progress and asking question and also answering question for people looking to start growing. My hope if besides for big dank frosty nugs if to start some type of perpetual grow system. So i'll post some pics and lemme know what you think!
Week 5 Update: Alright so this is currently week 5 of veg Transplanted the girls into 3 gal grow bags so that they can stretch their roots a bit before they go into flowering. Watered on Sunday with straight 6.5 ph'd water and on Wednesday they got a dose on Grow Big and Big Bloom: 15ml grow big 10ml big bloom I'm planing on going into flower on monday 4/18 with the 600 watt hps. In the mean time I'll be setting up a second grow closet dedicated to veg and keep my mother plants 1 Vanilla Kush and 1 Super Lemon Haze Other than that not much else going on here's some pics for the week! Good luck with the VK! Im almost done with 3 plants myself! So excited. My best grow yet (only done a couple). Here is a pic of the top cola. 2 week old picture actually. It was 4 weeks at this point (now at 6 weeks today, 2 weeks to go!).
Yeah, hopefully it turns out as good as it looks. Grown w/ 2 parts FFOF, 1 part FFLW and the same nutes you are using

So far, not too bad I guess I'd say. For one thing the SLH looks amazing. Both in my veg closet and in my flowering room. However my Vanilla Kush is showing some issues. I'll post some pictures. But from my research I suspect humidity issues, and magnesium def. I don't know but guess what i'm guessing based on my research. But if you guys would take a look and lemme know what you think. This problem is only occuring with my Vanilla Kush strains, both in flower and the mother in veg are showing the same signs, just keep that in mind. But anyways gave the girls a straight flush with 3 gals of ph'd fresh water each plant. Hopefully if there is any salt buildups thats helps. Mmm thats about it for now cheers!

5-2-11 Week 3 of flowering in my 600 watts Super lemon haze and vanilla kush grow. Sunday 5-1-11: The girls recieved a watering and some nutes: -10ml big bloom -5ml tiger bloom -5ml grow big Anyways these pics where taken this morning when the lights came on and i will tell you over night buds appeared!!! Hola Grasscity, We are now at week 4 of the flowering phase, and we have some awesome frosty buds developing. I am having a potassium def with one of my pheno's with my Vanilla Kush. But a dose of tiger bloom with def take care of that in the next watering. Anyways some pictures for your bud porn pleasure!
