ok so i decided a few months ago to start some plants in my closet. It went very well for a month i had a nice hydro system and was doing it very safely. Well two nights ago we were all sitting down at dinner when we hear this loud **BEEP** **BEEP** **BEEP**. The smoke detector i had in my grow room was going off.. I was just like oh shit oh shit in my head. I thought it could have been an actual fire. My parents are like what the hell? So i run upstairs to unplug the lights that are going. I smell my room and it doesnt smell like smoke so i think i am ok. My parents start coming upstairs and i am freaking out!!! I am really hot and sweating practically. By some miracle the TV has a very similar sound going off. The TV was on "it takes a thief" which is a burgulary show. By some miracle i convince them that it was the TV. I was so freaked out that i took everything out and gutted my grow room. What i realized is that people shouldnt grow in their parents house unless your parents know. It is just too dangerous and can get them into trouble if you were to get busted.
Wow...pretty cool that you got a grow up and running. But as far as your parents not being aware it was a smart call on your part and pretty mature to take it all out and not risk them or make the be involved without there consent...good story though.
