I have been growing for about a year and I was wondering if the sunlight during the day and the flouros at night would mess up the plant somehow. Due to getting laid off from my job, I can only spare little $ at the time. As of now I am looking for a job so hopefully within the next few weeks I can get better lighting. For now it's been about a week since sprouting and all seems well. Input is much appreciated.
Bearing in mind that plants grown outdoors start to flower when they detect the days are getting shorter, for how long after the summer solstice do you propose to continue this regime?? And will you just stop the fluoros or taper them off gradually?
The summer solstice still has about 2-2.5 months left. So hopefully when I get my job up and going and get some cash I'll put out for a 600 or 1000 W HPS so I can continue to grow indoors fulltime. I was just concerned about the heat here. It gets to about 98 degrees F with practically no humidity. It's just one big desert.
I was just wondering if I can keep this type of schedule up for another month at the most. Thanks for your input.
What you talking about?? The summer solstice was yesterday, June 21. You don´t really know what you are doing, and I fear this project will produce no bud. Just grow them outdoors and let mother nature do her stuff. MJ can take your temps with daily watering, it reaches that here. If you are growing in pots keep the roots cool by wrapping pots in baking foil. Good luck.
