Indoor growing equipment is getting on my last nerve!!! My fan is making a screeching noise off and on. I turned the fan off and sprayed a little WD-40 into both port and let it set for about 10 mins and it still does it. Has anyone else had a similar issues? Any suggestions? It isnt affecting the performance of the fan from what i can tell just makes a fairly loud screeching noise. If it helps any, the noise started and has progressed over the past 3 days since i installed a 200 cfm PHRESH brand carbon filter. I noticed some carbon and dust sitting on top of the tent from being pushed out of the fan. I have a passive intake filtered with 2 panty hose sets.
Any help!!! Im about to throw this bastard out the window and bust out my air horn they call a squirrel cage fan
