I live in an area and can't get lights except online. Looking for quality for the "best price" anyone have a special store. I am looking for a... 400 Watt MH system 1000/800 Watt Dual bulb a 600+400 or 400+400 system. Shipping is running around $60- $100 bucks. Any suggestions? Vendors? I am in NW USA - Montana
Hey sorry. I searched around found prices factored in shipping but just thought I might ask if anyone had knowledge of a "real good" store to mail order from. I'd have to drive 200 miles one-way. Another 75 bucks in gas, food... I'd rather walk in pay cash.. just can't. I am legal according to Local Laws so I'll on... later
Try local plant nurseries, hydroponics shops, maybe home depot if u got one. If you dont know of any hydro shops, simply look in the yellow pages "hydroponics" should be a catagory. Good luck
There are a few nurseries and a Home Depot 70 miles one away. Other forums have said most have more overhead than the shipping costs??? It all boils down to giving them a "name" aka Fred Flintstone

Thanks, most mail order is free ship. Seems to be 2 or 3 main ballasts being sold. Some 5 year/3 year/2 year warranties. Still getting a 400 Watt MH - See 1 for $210 w/ a better bulb. Might just go with one 600 or a 1000 watt HPS because the combo is just to expensive right now. I have older 10+ year old stuff - in a dry storage. Needs looked at good. Re - wired maybe. But an idea.
