Suddenly Hate being High

  1. Heya Blades!

    Right I have searched a lot before posting this, honestly did my best but if im wasting your time and the answers under my nose then please forgive me, piont me in the right direction and Ill be on my way.
    I used to smoke a lot... first started when v depressed and a friend offered me a Joint... smoked for about 3 months just while with mates during the day and some nights, never alone. Told myself id go 2 month cold turkey from fags n green and if i could do it easily id start smoking again after said 2 month. (i was of an age where school warning of addiction and cannabis evil couldnt possibly be lies could they!?)
    I suceeded, and would be lying if i didnt say the first 2 or 3 weeks werent spent thinking about getting high... so proceeded to get BAKED!!!!!!!!!! for almost 10months i was high every night, and some days.. weekends spent sober. Id get high by myself 80% of the time and loved it, music, bath, food, movies.. all baked out my skull.
    Then, one day I got high.. not even that high.. and hated it. i just wanted it to end. was weed id been smoking for weeks, but this one time... by myself, i would have given my left nut to sober up instantly. Since then its always the same.. i feel sick and nervous and just end up spending the time wishing i was sober... I stil wanna get high, still read grasscity, still look at Nug Porn and talk about it, get soooo hungry to be stoned... then regret it. now I just have to turn down the joint for my own good... :/ I hate it.. I just wanna know if any1 else is with me or ideas to fix it???
    Anyway thanks for reading...
     
  2. Just take a couple months off man. No point in smoking it if you're not enjoying it.

  6. thats what those fungus type things that we cant talk about do to me.. im done with em, if you feel like i did with those fungus things, you should probably just quit smoking weed.

  8. I triple that! Anyways, I felt the same way one time. But the next day I smoked again and it was fine, sorry my case wasn't as severe as yours. I would suggest stopping for a couple months. Get back to your roots, T-Break!
     
  9. Ive taken a month off and still feel the same! Id love to just give up but i know i love it n i feel like im missing out without it...
    I would happily send you my bud! But I have none... else i smoke it and regret it!
     
  10. Do you get anxiety or paranoid? whats making you wish you were sober once you get high? I was thinking maybe you were smoking a heavy sativa or something. Seems kind of weird that you loved it and had no problems at first. I have anxiety myself so I tend to stick to indica dominant so I don't get all paranoid and have to take a xanax to feel somewhat normal again.

  12. Happened to a friend of mine, apparently as you get older you the way cannabanoids affect your brain (the receptors) can change. According to my friend this while being some what uncommon is not unheard of. Not sure if this is true but it makes sense and he took several drugs and behavioral courses at university.
     
  13. Just take a t-break or smoke sativa, whatever floats your boat best.
     
  14. Yup take a break. If you have the urge the next day after a bad trip, just remind yourself how bad it felt. Even a week off will help if your hell bent on keeping with it.

  16. Hey man i felt the same way, you definitely need to take a LONG break, it sounds like you have over-smoked yourself (yes i just said over smoked), sometimes its just better to take a break espiecally when you find you can't really enjoy it as much as you used to.
     
  17. I've been high for almost 3 years straight, and I recently decided to take a week off.

    It's been two weeks now and I don't really care to start smoking every day again; I guess I got tired of the feeling. I'll still smoke at parties or when someone offers.

    Do whatever you feel is best; it's your mind and we don't know precisely how cannabis affects you.
     
  18. it could be the smoking part of it maybe u should try edibles or something and not smoke it, not trying to tell u to get stoned or anything like that just trying to offer a solution but do whats best for you, even if that means taking the t-break
     
  19. Idk I've always loved smoking unless super stoned and even then it wasn't that bad.....
     
  20. You might have underlying depression and anxiety. Try eating better, getting exercise, and take some omega-3 pills as well as a multi vitamin. Also make sure you drink plenty of water and stay away from processed junk foods and sodas.
