Alrighty so I am rather new here and I usually never post on any sort of message board, however, but my friend ran into a little problem. He has a couple of babies that are around 3 months old and were looking good. He induced flowering and the next day they were completely wilted. This happened over night when previously they looked perfectly heatlhy and then the next morning they were toppled over and wilted. He never took specific care of them and had decent results (or so he thought.) But the question is........ what could possibly cause them to suddenly wilt and die overnight? He is trying to still recover a few of them and he thinks it was mainly a heat issue since it got really cold at night and he never used an external heat source. Any thoughts? He would gladly appreciate them.
some strains are very sensitive to water, nutes, heat, ect. i once had a plants leaves droop and a thought it was gone but i gave it a good water and it perked right up. it could be from under\over watering heat humidity are there any other thing wrong with the plant? discoloration spots bugs rootbound good luck
There was some discoloration and yellowing in the lower leaves that ended up wilting and dying. There weren't any spots except for the lower leaves would just eventually die. There were some fungus gnats but not enough that he thought he should be considered and there was adequate space for root growth. He thinks he might of overwatered them and it got too cold when the lights were turned off. I talked to him this morning and he had the sad news that three of them had passed. Looks like a shitty christmas
damn thats a bitch had nats awile ago and then the plant got yellow leaves on the bottom and lost a fan leave from some spots and curling
