Substance abuse program

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by Mahk89, Sep 4, 2012.

  1. Was pulled over or busted headlight on 7/11/12 upon tht I was arrested because my license was suspended due to a scoff on a tinted window ticket.
I was charged with aggravated driving with a suspended license but this the officer did not feel was sufficient as I was also levied a charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs(marijuana)
The officer advised me tht since my license was already suspended I should refuse the blood test they administer since tht would be the penalty for refusal. He was very good at his job.
So today I had court and my attorney advised me to check into a substance abuse program between now and my next court date in order to better serve my case(initial offer from DA was 3yr probation pardon my french but fuck that.)

Anyway idk this topic isn't really for advice or anythin nd I realize theres several other topics by members goin thru the same and far harsher troubles but I jus wanted to talk about it with folks tht understand n don't judge I guess lol
I'm startin a 6am-3 job so I was plannin on cuttin back frm being high roughly 14hrs a day like a do now but I never expected to compelled to do so by the law. It's a jungle out there brothers

  2. ...your last name wouldn't be 'Gump' would it?

driving without your license, you already had it suspended, in a car not fit to be on the road (headlight broke, you knew it too...)...ya, I think your real issue is a lack of thinking...time to start doing that skippy, time to start...

  3. I didn't kno it was suspended I found out when I got locked thts why I noted it happend the day after it became official.
Guess I shoulda mentioned something about the light tht doesn't quite abstain me but adds to the woe is me factor.
I had ford escape n after I got Into a accident a lil while back the dude at the body shop put in HIDs which apparently fords take a lil while to get used too so thy would be intermittent but functional the majority of the time and if one or both kicked off they would normally flick back on if I turn the lights on n off but I failed to notice on this occasion.
Granted shoulda made sure the light was 100% if I wanna drive around but ya kno broke lazy pothead n all those excuses..

  4. SOooo... you had prior conflicts and torts with LEO that you now claim complete ignorance of...as if you didn't know you had been given a ticket and court date that led to the suspension...uhhuh...

kids...some really need mom-n-dad to kick them in the ass and teach them common sense...and personal responsibility

At least with your ass in prison, the roads will be safer...have fun with that

  5. Will the roads really be safer with me in prison? Cause that does seem to be the principle we operate under.

  6. you definitely don't need to enroll in a whole program; just take a substance abuse evaluation (your lawyer should be able to direct you to the right place) and have him present that to the judge.
Just make sure to lie your ass off (but convincingly) so the eval doesn't show you as very dependent
