It came with the grow stuff I bought. I thought it might be a climate control thing or somthing... I'm confused.
Fan speed controller ? Not sure but hope that helps
No, I have a fan speed controller.. this has 0-100 degrees on it. Hmm.
It looks like it regulates voltage of some sort, and I think those numbers are temperatures. So I would think fan controller.
Mini space heater That's my guess
You know... That very well could be!
any other inputs other than the electrical plug?
There's a plug behind the plug.. if that makes sense. But yeah there is. I assume you hook some sort of heater or somthing up to it I'm confused.
its a temp controller, shuts the fan off/on when the room hits a specified temperature. cant tell from the pictures but some of these are only setup for heating or cooling, so yeah plug it in to your fan and see what happens when you turn the dial.
Looks like a COOLING ONLY thermostat . Its for hooking to an exhaust fan (or A/C). You set the temp, and it kicks the fan on to exhaust when the temp is reached... yup.
In the picture if you look on the left hand side, you can see a series of vents, a hanger of some sort on the top back and a pop rivet on the bottom. My guess would be there are vents on the other side and a series of 2 or 4 screws on the back. My guess without other pictures- thermometer on the inside with a series regulator attached. When the temperature of the air coming into the device is above the 'set' temperature, power is provides to the 'plug in plug' - which would be connected to the plug. It has a ground - so I would think it would be for more than an oscillating fan ( haha ) but more like a window mount AC unit or something 'low tech' since higher tech ac units have built in thermometers. Long story short ( sorry ) - it kicks an AC/Heating unit on/off based on set temp.
