i don't think there are any stupid questions, well ok yeah there are but i hope these aren't... so i'm reading only female plants produce buds. and you can use the male plants for repro but not for smoking i want to grow some just to smoke. i'm not into genetics experiments and i'm not into serious production. just a few plants for me and my hon to have fun with. so is there someplace in particular that i should order from, that has a good rep of female plants per order? should I just spend the extra dough and order an all female packet? Anyone got a favorite place? So far Dr Chronic has my vote. Being in 'the land of the free' half the banks won't ship. also, how long *after* my seeds get here will they remain viable? do I have to germinate and plant within days, weeks or months? or can I just try one or to... then a few months later try another few. thanks and happy puffin...
Seeds are either feminized or they aren't. If you get regular (non-femmed) seeds the odds are 50/50 on gender, nothing to improve those odds other than producing all femmed seeds. Doc Chronic and Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique are two good seedbanks to order from that ship to the USA -- reliable, good prices, good variety. Seeds can remain viable for years if kept in a dry, cool, dark place.
