Stunted Autos , give up on them?

  1. First, Not Native English so pardon my grammer.

I was curious of why my seedlings are grow very slow and found out that it was my tap water(so much chrolorine or chloramine in it) I heard It kills roots and stunts the plant. Is it right? or is it maybe too much light for weak seedlings? (put them on 1st day, 5cm under 23W cfl for each and 2x23W cfl for sides

Ok i know i am wasting my time with these stunted babies
but wanna be sure if they would recover and start growing fast because i changed the water to bottled water?

This cant be a 3 weeks old right? look how she is small

I have these 2 Blue Mystic Auto and 1 Ak-48 Auto from NirvanaSeeds.
Put all, 2-3'' under 23W Cfl x 5 (in SpaceBucket)
Planted in coco (BioBizz CoCo MiX)
    0,3lt Solo Cups

First B.M. has sprouted on 03 March
    2nd. B.M. and AK-48 has sprouted on 09 March.

mistake: Watered with calmag, 3 days old seedlings. (Cuz heard coco has not in it and seedling may need it)(Didnt know that seedling need anything for first 1-2 weeks)

  2. Did u flush that coco before using it ? Looks like a salt toxicity

  4. Nope. It came moist.
maybe Salt Toxicity caused from very high chloramine in my water ?
I flushed them yesterday with ph'd bottled water %20 runoff

  5. Coco has a lot of salts in it , should be flushed regardless , do u have a rain tank at all ?? If so use rain water instead

  7. i didnt know that next time ill do that

i dont have a tank but dont think it would be expensive,
water is cheap here you can buy 20lt for 2$.

So what do you think they could recover and start growing like normal or they cant because their roots are bad?

  8. Yeah ($2 ) :) like 8$ here in aus for bottled water

  12. Thank you for the replies.

    Not soil i use this
I didn't mix perlite at start.
i added perlite to top of it only. To stop, evoporation of top inch of coco.
Should i transplant them in soil or a clean coco-perlite mix to see whats gonna happen?

  13. Chloramine doesn't evaporate !
