I'm used to shrugging off claims like this because of bad science but this seems like a pretty sound study. I think the article makes it sound worse than what the study says, but still I was wondering what you guys thought of this.
Negative is subjective. I know.potheads first hand and they are no better oor worse off. The study is bs -Yuri
I don't know how they reach higher and higher THC levels, and I didn't read the article lol but I imagine they are playing with the genetics of the plant. So, the very nature of fucking with nature is of a (presumably) negative. ...nature lol
Well I uh....I uh.... huh? What was i gonna say? Oh yeah! I remember now...I uh...I uh...*stares off into space and begins drooling*
On the other hand, there are these- Daily marijuana use is not associated with brain morphometric measures in adolescents or adults. (full – 2015) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC430859... "In sum, the results indicate that, when carefully controlling for alcohol use, gender, age, and other variables, there is no association between marijuana use and standard volumetric or shape measurements of subcortical structures." Evaluating the impact of cannabis use on thalamic connectivity in youth at clinical high risk of psychosis. (full – 2015) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC464035...full "CHR (Clinically High Risk for psychosis) who used cannabis before age 15 did not differ on thalamic connectivity as compared to CHR who used after age 15 or CHR who were cannabis naïve. No group differences in thalamic connectivity emerged when comparing CHR separated by moderate/high use frequency, low-frequency or cannabis naïve." Granny
I read the "results" of the Cambridge one...presumably they is no account in the study for why someone would be a "daily user", i.e. why the correlation exists...they just assert that it's the THC. That said...being high most your waking hours would clearly have an impact on your brain's development..
