How is this new? Roadside tests for cannabis are pretty commonplace in Europe. I think a simillar swab method is used.

Cannabis and alcohol orientated roadside breathiliser machines have been in use now for some years in germany and the uk. I personally don't have anything against them. It's simple, don't drink or do drugs and drive, it impares your ability and kills people as a direct result.
