I accidentally posted this in first time growers and believe it will get more attention here. I'm at 59 days flipping at 70. My question is do you think it will be worth it to turn my lights from 100 to 60 percent to promote stretch? Or just continue the way I have since its only 11 more days and allow natural stretch once I flip?
id leave mine at 60 and after the first 2 weeks of flower and the stretch, which usally goes 2 to 3 weeks i would bump to75 remember how tall there gonna get mate, they can double in size in that 2 weeks
So you are saying turn the light down to 60 right now and leave it until 2 weeks into stretch? I'm hoping if I do this it'll allow me to get better stretch to weave my net
no if you already have them sun hardened , 75 is as high as i go in veg and my feed ppm will be around 750 ppm i dont change anything until stretch is done , then i put the hps bulb in and slowly start bumping up feed every week . if your lucky you never burned the leaves in veg and when you feed to much you will know were you need to hang out a bit, might just be me but when stretch is done , every week i bump it up 25 ppm and i never go over 900, by the time you have 900 you will be close to the finish line, and starting at 900 and going back downward your plant starves itself and gets out that nitrogen
beautiful work there. they look great but that pheno really wants to be a bush. Curious to see how your grow goes. Please keep us posted.
I have a journal you can check out called grow of 4 glookies. But you see it turned into 2 lol. Anyway thanks for the kind words
That's why I gave up on using nets and just let them flower I will add stakes after the stretch and I would leave the lights 100% and maybe raise a few inches to promote stretch
