I did some LST and now the side stems shot up like a weed. No pun intended. I know this isnt good for a couple reasons. It has been humid in my area. What can I do so when it flowers it isnt too heavy for the stems? How would you all go about addressing this? I been watering and giving it its IPM and now Kelp spray. Soil should be fine. Thanks I just try to follow the advice of people that have experience, learn a little and have some fun
Stretching will slow down. As for tying them up for support. Put a clothes drying net or make a t bar stand next to it and tie the branches to the tbar hanging or else tie ropes across the top and then to the branches.
Nice plants - this round I switched up how I support my plants and got the field or garden fencing 5x50. With a pair of tin snips you can cut and customize easily, lots of anchor points for ties, many options....stands on its own and secure with zip ties. Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk
Thank you, it is getting alot of silica between foilar spray and waterings it sees silica very frequently. It is the only bottled thing I use besides the Humid Acid at times.
If there is even a light breeze where the plant is I would wait with adding support as the movement from the wind will signal the plant to strengthen the branches, you will be surprised how well a plant can adapt its structure in this kind of situation if left alone. You will probably still need to add some support regardless towards the end when the buds start to get heavy.
