i've heard having a fan blowing on my plant will make the stem strong but i'm not sure if thats true, is there any other ways to help this? and does the method change wen using dirt compared to hydro? any advice would be helpful since i havn't found a thread that clearly adresses this yet
Yes, but it does not need a tornado. A simple fan blowing on the plant will make the stem/s grow thick and strong.
another question is it possible to do anything to the new sprout to make the stem much thicker? i ask this because i've had it were some sprouts have rlly nice strong stems and others not so much, wondering if this is just chance or if it's influenced
putting the lights closer to the plants will help because they dont have to stretch so far to reach the light. another thing you can do it burry the stem more with what ever medium you are useing, this will promote root growth up as far as you add medium. happy growing
