  1. i gotta admit i swap my blown bulbs with the 1s that light up the factory across the road from me. i do it on a sunday daytime when no1s working and the lights aint on.

  2. You'll always have some major difficulties and problems stealing lights. You won't be able to remove the ballast or you won't be able to get the light off at all or it won't be set up for 120 volt house current. Remember, a lot of lights at wired directly into the main power lines since they are already at a high enough voltage to work the lights. You can find cheap used lights on ebay.

  4. You're all thieves.

Let's hope a tragic electrical incident befalls you.

    Teenagers today.

    Cha.

Let's help the cause by painting the picture of all heads being criminals. That'll FUCKING HELP.

Grow up, get jobs, BUY lights.

    Sleep well kiddies.

  5. Erm i mite seem a bit daft ere but arnt we? at least the 1s in the uk, it is agenst the law to smoke, grow, sell, buy or just have dope.

  6. Indeed Barnaby.

But we are not petty yobs.

People generally don't associate kicking lights off building with responsible behavior. I want our favourite herb legal one day, changing attitudes of the man on the street is a big part of that.

  7. $15 for a used 400w hps! dam thats cheap too bad im not growing indoors anymore.

  8. 15 $ for 400w? wheree?

  9. There was a guy on ebay selling used setups from a building or something i guess he garbage picked them. They were going for $5-$25. They all were remote ballast, well ghetto style just a allast wires and a bulb so shiping mush abve been cheap. All of them worked. Keep an eye out on ebay and you will see one or two.

  10. i dunno, i dont really like ebay. i got ripped off twice:(

  11. dont buy from sellers with little or no positive feedback.

  12. yeah, cause they do notin but scams:(

  13. man that would kick ass.... except for most large complexes have security gaurds.... well, bring cloroform.... :D

  14. kill the power, on the top of most street poles have a throwswitch ontop of the main pole (unscrew the cover, flup over the 4" long switch, and takedown the fixture)...

simple, unless your afraid of heights. i've slipped twice, but i always use a saftey harness (cause im clumsy)...

    ;)

  15. i have found a pefect light to steel its on a wall :D at about knee hight but is it safe to just unscrew and rob or will i get electricuted? can anyone tell me cos i need a light b4 i start growing and i dont have no cash

  16. take along a good pair of insulated wire cutters (has rubber on the handles)..... somehow get the whole fixture off the wall, then cut the 2 or 3 cords going into it..... simple as that....

but after stealing it be prepared to get some bad karma for awhile.... unless the owner of the light has ripped you off before (aka. used to work at the place the light is at and you were unjustly fired).....

  17. id say unless if you have experience and are experienced enought to be calm handeling live wires you shouldnt play with it. The only time i would and did steal a light was durring a blackout. Otherwise you are working with live wires in the dark or dimmly lit by a flashlight.

  18. thats what the insulated cutters are for, just cut, and remove the fixture,.... simple as that...

  19. John the wires are still hot where they come out the wall. if you dont cut them one at a time and put caps or tape on it you have a high chace of the wires grounding out on the box or eachother.

  20. trust me, just use a high qaulity pair of wire cutters and you'll do fine, ive dont it tons of times..... nothing shorts, the insulation over the wires prevents that... and if you cut it properly (a fast, clean cut) they short out momentarily and wont even spark.... just dont try to saw your way through live wires... thats looking for trouble....
