Sorry I'm high as shit and I laid my phone down in the middle of typing a reply to make a sandwich and somehow it submitted What I typed as a reply...... O well....but What it is is a stealth closet grow with a 400w cfl and I'm using mg soil and fox farm nutes. I've been doing a little experiment I was anxious and I germed the seed while my last grow was in flowering stage...so this has been on 12/12 light cycle ever since it was a seedling

Well I'm new to this and I suffer even think about the consequence of putting a plant that should be in veg in the flower room (I don't have a separate light/room to veg on/with)....so that being said I was like hey might as well try and see how she turns out......I think I might have turned her into an auto flower tho idk

  7. hey man lookin pretty good! only thing I notice, youve got some leaves starting to curl quit a bit, so its either from over or under watering. whats your watering schedule like?

Man I was told that I was over watering so I gave her almost a week and a half dry then watered her without any nutes just regular Ph balanced water..... And she actually is looking worse to me.....WHAT COULD THIS BE?

  9. Seriously dont believe people when they say you can overwater your plant, theyre talking shit.
If your soil medium is not compacted, good drainage, and theres holes for run off, it is impossible to over water.
It doesnt matter how much water you put in it, it will drain out, and whats left in the pot in the pot even after 20 litres is the same amount as if u put 5 litres through it.
    Gravity pulls out the water.
It isnt good for strong root development, but it wont hurt your plant, that is unless your medium is not free draining.

thats definitely not true? you can sure as shit over water your plant. roots dont like to always be wet. ive seen countless people on this site do it as well as others? draining issues are are a,different story. poor draining just leads to root rot which=fucked.

  12. I don't know what the problem is I'm not full of shit enough to guess

  13. How can u say roots don't like to be wet when the only way they can take up water and nutrients is in liquid form, if it's a good soil medium and freedraining how can it affect the plant.
I saw your grows and they are beginner, I studied horticulture food production and I've beengrowng shit for decades.
Sure it's not good tooverwater but it won't kill the plant, roots need moisture.
This is one of the guys I was warning you about, full of shit

  14. you have to feed that plant it shows many of the signs of deficiency man, many different kinds like nitrogen and potassium i can see from here. feed her with ph'd water man, i think your problem might be nutrient lockout due to incorrect ph.

    true

    false!

    three words

    deep water culture

roots are immersed in the water+nutrient solution 24/7!

this is because they still get oxygen, through an air pump+air stone

so, as long as the water has oxygen in it, the plant will not be overwatered and the roots can still always be wet

the problem with soil is that the soil becomes saturated with water that is not getting a steady supply of oxygen, thus the plant drowns

in fact, a lot of people see quicker growth because the plant has water and nutrients 24/7 instead of just once for a couple hours every three days

  16. What are the temps like throughout the day?

  17. I dont know what your problem is at all rastapaul? wasnt trying to fucking offend at all?you took that way too far. im studing for my deegree in botany, and am very ambitious and interested about it.and am not that full of shit,so no need to be an ass?

all I was saying is that, in soil, too much water can dampen the soil too much and overtime it they can develop root rot. im aware of how roots take in nutrients, and have a basic understanding of hydroponics.

this was an advice thread? sorry for fucking putting two cents in.

  18. goodluck with your grow man!

  19. i hope i did not upset you at all as i was not trying to....i was just trying to help out too!

root rot is definitely a biotch to deal with, especially in hydro

  20. not at all!
