Strange Smell weed? Anyone help me out with this?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by bfmv318, Sep 3, 2011.

  1. Okay, So I have smoked for about two years now...On and off very occasionally the first year, this past year it has been more and more...Ive picked up maybe 5 times in these two years, have smoked with friends on their supplies mostly.

Picked up a few weeks ago Mr.Nice Guy and Master Kush, Both looked legit. I cut them up and put them in an air tight container. I opened it up last week and it reeked of a very pungent almost gut wrenching smell...Than I smoked it and even through an ice cube bong it is super harsh and tastes very funny. Any explanation?

  2. What was the air tight container u put it in..

  3. Mason jar with a lock seal top!

  4. Did you ever vent it? Did it mold?

  5. I never vented it no, and I checked for mold but there was nothing visible that I could see

  6. All I can think of now is that's just some fucking dank.

  7. That was my guess....BUT...It really doesnt get me that ripped :/

  8. one of my plants produced buds that had a skunky, sour cat piss smell. that mostly went away after curing, but it stank, bad.

mold can give it a bad smell, just check the buds for soft, damp/moist spots, thoroughly inspect them - if nothing, could just need curing - which I'd do for 10 - 14 days.

  9. Only thing i can think of is it molded somehow

  10. Throw it out, If moldy you could die. Every eat a moldy berries?

  11. how would he die? I doubt there is much mold that is resistant to flame..
