Strange question.. paranoid question?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Filth Noir, May 21, 2010.

  1. Ok, so it's not really a paranoid question, I don't even live in a state with the marijuana legalized for medical reasons. So just curious, because I'm really curious when I'm high; what happens if a doctor turns you down for a recommendation? Would you be able to just go to another doctor and give them a try?

  2. Certainly, but...

A cannabis doctor, generally speaking, will only turn you down for lacking medical records to prove your original diagnosis.

That will happen at the next one, too.

It's usually well over 100 dollars to see the Dr., so it is best to be prepared for your visit by bringing your medical records.

Respect the system, don't abuse it.

  3. I'm just curious as to how it works =p don't plan on living in a state with medical until my state becomes one, if it does, which I'm very optimistic for.. of course. But it could be some time...

  4. In California, it's very simple.

    1) Have a real medical problem.

    2) Ask your regular doctor the give you a recommendation. He usually will refuse. Then you ask for a copy of your medical records.

    3) Take the money, your records and ID to the cannabis specialist. You have a quick check up, and chat with the doctor for a bit. Then you pay the receptionist and she hands you a piece of paper. You are now "legal"! :smoke:

Now about getting your state legal. See the "MMJ studies" link in my sig. Get yourself comfortable and click the link! Just start reading anywhere that interests you. Educate yourself, then start educating others. :D We win this war one mind at a time!
