strange leaf curling

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Jdoc, Sep 13, 2009.

  1. This is a northern light plant I grew from seed, in FFOF soil, under 120W of CFLs. It's about a week old from sprout, and is developing severe leaf curling. I have 3 other plants growing in the same exact conditions and they are doing fine. Any suggestions on what could be wrong with this one? (sorry for bad pic.. camera phone)

  2. Usually when leaf tips curl up, its due to the plant trying to retain moisture. This could be caused by too much heat, too much wind blowing on them, or lack of fresh air.

  3. A lot of times the first leaves are strange. Don't panic yet... I bet the rest will be fine.
