i'm kinda baked right now so maybe this is a really dumb question...and if so..just flame on BUT! so...we all know that most bud mature at 50-70 days into 12/12. what would happen if you didn't harvest? would the buds still grow (even if very slowly and inefficiently)? or would the buds slowly peak and die like most flowers?
Generally if you "over flower" a plant it will develop bud mold and rot.... all good things must come to an end.
The trichs turn cloudy, then amber......then black as the THC disintegrates. Eventually you are left with bud that has no THC content.
