Forgive me guys, I don't know jack shit about growing. I got this pickup and originally thought it was just poorly manicured. I clipped the trim and found that the buds were very loose—not compacted at all. It smokes great but this just seemed odd. The girl I got it from knows the grower so I thought I'd see what you guys had to say about this and let her know so maybe guy can get some better weed next cycle. The one on the right was trimmed by me, the two on the left are untouched.
It looks to me like those are popcorn buds meaning they were on the bottom of the plant and received less light. Typically growers will use that to make hash or oil or what have you. If those were indeed buds from the top or middle of the plant its most likely not getting enough light penetration. So maybe he used cfls or a 400 watt light?
Yeah used low level lites like T5's or CFL's. However should an inexperienced trimmer have cut these, the guy may have been tempted to taste his trims and thus been very stoned, and trying to trim....lol
That makes sense because the buds look very loose, almost as if they were underdeveloped. Well I am a very inexperienced trimmer and tasted the trim at length while manicuring so I know that feel lol. Thanks for info blades, those were the kind of answers I was hoping for.
