Can anyone here give fellow in Texas a hand with what strains grow better at high temps??? I've tried starting a small "garden" for myself a few times now and it always ends up in a fail because of the Texas heat. I dont have the option of an indoor grow room and live on 40 something acres of land and have plenty of room to grow there. If anyone can help with what strains grow best, and how to maintain them at temps that hover around 100 degrees for a few months would be great. Personal advice or any links will be a great help.
stick with either short short season indicas and start early, so they finish before it gets too hot, or long season sativas, that can withstand the heat and like to veg for a very long time... check out blue dream, mexican sativa, the oxaca strains, panama red, basically anything that loves a really long season, and likes to grow huge..
mandala seeds have strains that are heat resistant most sativas will be heat resistant (originated in India, Africa where it's as hot as Texas). did you always use an airy soil mix? roots that are not well oxygenated esp. in hot temps will cause the plant to die.
