Straining weed from oil

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Slushy, Apr 5, 2012.

  1. BNW seems that what you are saying is that you only use weed flour and don't strain.
Also the potency is higher than if you decarbed grind then strain?

  2. Correct. It doesn't really matter how fine you grind or not. The finest powder is just easier to get down or flow in an eyedropper or pipette.

Potency is highest if you don't strain. Always some losses either incomplete extraction or what you can't squeeze from the weed as well as any losses in the filter material used.
Unless your super sensitive and the actual plant material bothers your digestive system there is no reason to strain IMO.

Now if you grow trees and losses don't matter and you want a super clean product then sure strain. Most people don't have mass amounts to use like that so I recommend leaving the plant material in.
